Truro Brewing Company
Branding and Label Design.
Opened in February 2020, Truro Brewing Company is Truro’s first microbrewery.
The owners contacted me looking to establish a brand image that communicated their love of quality beer and the town they call home.
Taking inspiration from vintage ‘drop cap’ letters I created a monogram logo for them featuring a letter T adorned with hop vines and wheat. Similar to the act of brewing itself, the brand is modern but pays tribute to the tradition of times past.
To complement the logo a drop cap was created for their opening lineup of beers; Willow St. Wheat, Hubtown Honey Brown, Cobequid Bay IPA and Exit 14 Porter. Each beer logo features imagery related to the taste of the beer itself.
